Being Safe from Harm also helps put our minds at ease, and helps us create an environment where mental health is embraced. There are many ways we can support our mental health, and one of them is by learning about it and understanding why it’s important to talk about it. It is so important to be aware of not only our own mental health, but also that of others.
World Scouting’s SFH Mental Health Toolkit can be used by Adult Leaders to help their young Scouting members understand what mental health means, while giving them skills on how to take care of their own mental well-being, as well an help their peers.
