A Scouting Adventure Awaits…

Come join us and experience an adventure in the beautiful Giants Castle region of the Drankensberg. Sleep in some majestic caves in and see some jaw dropping views, sun rises to write home about. Hike along some of the most scenic mountain routs in the Berg.

When we heard the sad news that the Cederberg SENIOR SCOUT ADVENTURE was cancelled for 2018, we simply could not sit back and accept it. So we, in KZN region put our heads together and decided, a Scout Adventure must be had!

There is a limited number of participants we can accept in this the inaugural KZN Scout Adventure. Get your application in soonest!

Patrols will be limited to 10 persons each (9 scouts and 1 ranger) and will comply with the KZN Ezemvelo Wildlife regulations, no exceptions!

Ezemvelo KZNWildlife – INJISUTHI

Injisuthi is in the northern section of the Giant’s Castle area of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park. This hutted camp is cradled between the Injisuthi and Cowl Fork rivers at the head of the Injisuthi Valley. It is surrounded by magnificent scenery and is dominated by Cathkin Peak, Monk’s Cowl and Champagne Castle.

In Partnership with KZN Ezemvelo Wildlife, this magnificent location will be the home base for this adventure.

Participant can make their own way there, or if you need transport arranged, please make sure you indicate that upon registration

Who may Participate

KZN Scout Adventure is open to all scouts that are at least 15.5 years, BUT not yet 18 years old at the start of the adventure.

If you are over 18 years, you fall under adults.

Adult (Scouter) patrols are welcome to enter, all patrol members must however be over the age of 18 years.
