Learning teamwork can be challenging

We are celebrating 100 years of Cubbing worldwide. We asked Zoe Bailey (8) from 1st Claremont Cub Pack in the Western Cape why Cubbing Rocks? Check this out!

Zoe Bailey!SSA: Why is Cubbing so much fun?
Cubbing is so much fun because it is “Scouts”!

SSA: What was your best experience with Cubs?
My best experience was when we went to a Cub camp at Hawequas.

SSA: What was the toughest challenge at Cubs?
The toughest challenge at Cubs is learning how to work as a team.

SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
Our Scout Ranch Hawequas was the most amazing place.

SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
I have learnt how to do first aid and how to light matches.

SSA: What things have you done with Cubs to help people in your community?
We cleaned up a park close to our Scout Hall. That helped people in our community.

SSA: What makes a good Akela?
A good Akela teaches us a lot!

SSA: Why is your Akela special?
My Akela is special because he teaches us new things every week.

Cubbing Rocks because …  we go to awesome places and meet new people.
