We are deeply saddened by the events that took place in Hawaii and convey our deepest sympathy and condolences to Lindani Myeni’s wife Lindsay, his children, family and friends.

As a Scout family we mourn the loss of his life and remember the moments he shared with Scouting members in KZN. Lindani joined the Scout Movement as a child at the higher primary school where his mom also volunteered as a Scouter.  As an Empangeni Scout and as a young adult member he was loved and respected by all who came into contact with him. He then pursued a successful career in Rugby.

He was a young man with determination and heart, who embraced the values of Scouting, but who also understood the importance of family and of being true to himself and his roots.
